Masterpieces in Silver 1988 Bicentennial Issue
In 1988 the Royal Australian Mint struck the first Masterpieces in Silver set. As the first of what became an annual series, this 4 coin sterling silver set commemorated the Bicentennial year of European settlement in Australia with a sterling silver 50¢, $1, $2 and $5 proof coins.
