Set against a waterway among hills, the obelisk is surrounded by two flags, both at half-mast. Included in the design is a motif representing a torch and an eternal flame, the inscriptions ’25 APRIL’ and ‘LEST WE FORGET’, the 2024 year-date a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying the Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary.

The coin’s obverse bears depicts the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the monetary denomination.
