This coin was struck to commemorate the centenary of the historic achievement of South Australian suffragists (notably the eminent South Australian suffragist, Mary Lee) to gain women the freedom to vote and the right to stand for public office.
This al/bronze proof is housed encapsulated, in a square royal blue leatherette, hinged lid presentation case protected in a themed cardboard shipper.
