Creators of the Lithuanian Mint continue the Fairy Tales series with the delightful latest coin, "The Princess and the Pea", a piece of impressive beauty.

The main message of the work – while traveling through life, let us avoid hasty conclusions and boring, primitive solutions. After all, with ingenuity, we can see and achieve much more than expected.

The second coin in the Fairy Tale series features a young, ordinary girl whose royal identity is established in a very ingenious way – by testing her sensitivity through a green Swarovski pea-sized stone.

The reverse of the coin shows a girl surrounded by a princess’s room full of various cozy details.

The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Technologies such as digital printing, antique finish and high relief were used in the production of the coin. “The Princess and the Pea” is sold in a special round white box decorated with tiny peas.
