2017 $2 'C' Mintmark Coloured Uncirculated Coin-Lest We Forget.

The iconic dome of the Australian War Memorial houses a unique space for quiet contemplation. Situated above the Tome of the Unknown Australian Soldier, the dome is an intricate mosaic depicting into the afterlife.

The mosaic also depicts many iconic Australian symbols including wattle and black swans. The mosaic was created by artist Napier Waller who lost an arm serving in the First World War. Waller was selected to create the decorative elements in the Memorial's Hall of Memory. Comprising of more than six million tesserae tiles, Waller's work is one of the largest in the world.
