Andor Meszaros was one of the designers chosen by the Royal Australian Mint to submit designs for consideration on Australia's decimal coins.
Although Meszaros' designs were not selected, the image he proposed for the 20-cent coin is well known by many decimal coin collectors for its appearance on the obverse of the unofficial 1967 Swan Dollar.
The Perth Mint released this set of coins to pay tribute to Meszaros' proposed designs, it was incredibly popular at the time it was released.
