The coin’s reverse portrays a coloured representation of a mother and baby emu by a billabong. The inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN EMU’, The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark, the 2021 year-date and the coin’s weight and purity are also included in the design.
