C.E.W. Bean, chronicler of Gallipoli and founder of the Australian War Memorial; and Damien Parer, whose memorable images from the Kokoda track preceded his death in the line of duty; exemplify an honourable occupation distinguished by bravery and integrity.
There is a brief description of the work done by these brave Australians and the contribution they made to Australian war history on the card.
