The reverse design of this coin incorporates a 1797 1oz Cartwheel penny to commemorate Governor King's proclamation in 1800 which attempted to standardise the value of the wide variety of coins circulating in the New South Wales colony at the time.
The coin is housed encapsulated in a brown velvet hinged lid presentation case protected by a colourful cardboard box and accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
