1984 $1 Mob Of Roos Boxed Proof Coin.

This 1984 $1 Mob of Roos Al/Bronze Proof is a collectible coin released by the Royal Australian Mint. It is a proof struck specimen in aluminium bronze. This coin is a perfect choice for history and numismatic collectors alike. It is an excellent showcase of expert craftsmanship made with the highest quality materials.

The issue of the dollar coin in 1984 was the first time in Australian Numismatic history that a coin was struck to directly replace a circulating note. The dollar note was rapidly withdrawn from circulation.
