Despite his nerdy and sometimes reclusive nature, Donnie is a superb warrior with a fighting style that relies on strength and stamina, but also great tactical wisdom. Donatello wears a purple eye mask and mainly fights with a bo staff featuring a retractable blade.
The coin portrays Donatello in colour, busting through a brick wall with city buildings in the background. The design includes the inscription ‘DONATELLO’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin is part of a series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character coins scheduled for release. Each piece comes in a presentation box and shipper which can be stacked together to form a city scape.
