Much-loved Australian children's book, Edward The Emu by Edward Knowles and Rob Clement, is highlighted in the third release by Royal Australian Mint's and Children's Book Council of Australia's partnership, promoting reading to young audiences. The 2023 uncirculated coin featuring Edward, will be treasured by children and adults as they discover the story for the first time or reminisce about Edward's adventures.

For this year, the Royal Australian Mint has partnered with the Children's Book Council of Australia to produce a coin featuring an adored Australian children's book. Edward The Emu by Edward Knowles and Rob Clement is celebrated in 2023 - 35 years since it was first published.
