This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of proof versions of Australia's circulating coins. It celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the introduction of decimal currency in Australia on 14th February 1966. This set contains 2006 dated 1 and 2 cent coins struck by the Royal Australian Mint as the denominations were withdrawn in 1991. The set also contains a 2006 dated reprise of the round silver 50 cent struck for circulation only in the first year of decimal currency 1966.

Please note: This item is second hand and may have nicks, marks and scuffs to the outer and/or inner box or capsule. We strive to ensure that all items listed for sale are to a high standard, but please be aware that some of the older boxes issued by the Mints have not stood the test of time. While there may be some scuffing to the original packaging, the coin itself is in excellent condition with the pricing reflecting the condition of the product.
